Facebook

In short

Facebook group notifications help you spot public buying posts without joining a group or becoming an admin. Facebook gives regular members broad notifications, not keyword alerts. We read the public group signed out, newest posts first. Matching posts arrive through the delivery channel included with your plan. The home page checks whether a group link is public and readable.

How Facebook alerts work

Add a public source, define matching phrases, and choose how you want to receive matches.

  1. Add a group or page

Paste a public Facebook group or page link. You do not need admin access or group membership.

  2. Describe the posts you want

Add phrases related to your offer. In AI mode, you can use an offer profile instead.

  3. Receive the match

Get a lead card immediately after a match or in a daily digest, depending on your settings.

What you get

Each match gives you the context needed to reply in the thread yourself.

Honest limits

  • In our measurement, a signed-out visit returned about 10 posts, read chronologically from newest first.
  • Scan frequency therefore matters.
  • We read public groups and pages only, never closed or private groups.
  • Posts older than a week are ignored, and comments are read from Growth.

Questions that come with it

Do I need a Facebook account or admin access?

You need neither a Facebook account nor administrator access. LeadScanner reads only the public group or page while signed out. We do not join the group or use your account. Closed and private groups are outside the service's scope.

Which notification channels are available?

Email is available with Starter. Slack and SMS are available from Growth. Webhook is available with Agency. You can choose immediate alerts or a daily digest. The available delivery channels depend on your selected plan.

What data appears on a lead card?

We do not collect phone numbers, email addresses, member lists, or lists of people who reacted. A card links to the public post and shows its author, link, and matched phrase. Public posts are personal data. Plan retention rules apply, and deletion is available on request.

Can I check a group before setting up alerts?

The home page offers a free check for a Facebook group link. It shows whether the group is public and readable. The check needs neither a card nor a Facebook account. We cannot read a closed group.
